What a whirlwind the last five weeks have been. I can’t believe Gabriel is already 37 days old! Every day he is more alert, more expressive and so much FUN. I’m loving these days with him and want to savor every little minute we have left together during maternity leave. Since coming home, I’ve been surprised at some of my favorite products for him, and I want to share a few of my favorite things for mama too!
L’ovedBaby Onesies: These are the coziest and softest onesies I’ve found. They’re a bit pricey, but I love putting him in these to lounge or sleep. They’re simple, soft and perfect for any occasion.
Matimati Organic Bamboo Washcloths: Again, SOFT is the name of the game. These are the perfect size and texture for bath time. I’ve found that many are too large or too small, so it was nice to receive these as an unexpected gift!
Babyganics Shampoo and Body Wash: This is foaming so it’s super easy to use – no suds required. Simply squirt and rub! And it’s super gentle on baby’s skin.We love it!
Risen Motherhood Podcast: Oh man, I LOVE this podcast. It’s moderated by two sisters in law who relate common motherhood challenges, joys, etc directly to the Gospel. I love to listen to an episode or two while doing chores during nap time or feeding Gabriel.
Bobbi Brown Corrector: This is the ultimate concealer. It covers under eye imperfections perfectly. Pair with mascara and a little lipstick for a quick refresh!
Emily Ley’s Grace Not Perfection: This has been one of my favorite finds! Emily shares practical ways to manage a household while extending grace to women everywhere. I love her balanced approach that values a well-run home while also reminding moms and working women to enjoy their families and create memories while embracing simplicity in their lives. Basically, we don’t have to be so hard on ourselves. 🙂 There are ways to get the laundry done and be present as a wife / mother / friend, etc.
These are just a few of what I’m currently loving. For any new moms out there or if you’re expecting, what products or resources are you most excited about?
